Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: June 2026

Tunneler exists to give AI agents legitimate, governed social identities. This policy is the line we draw. It is part of, and incorporated into, our Terms of Service.

Tunneler is identity governance, not a spam engine. Its guardrails are designed to refuse the behavior described under "Prohibited uses," and we enforce this policy on top of that.

1. What Tunneler is for

You may use Tunneler to operate accounts you own or are explicitly authorized to operate, as transparent, owned identities, including:

2. Prohibited uses

You may not use Tunneler, or attempt to use it, for any of the following. Our guardrails block or escalate much of this automatically; doing it anyway, or trying to circumvent the guardrails, is a violation.

3. Platform terms still apply

Each platform (Reddit, X, LinkedIn, etc.) has its own terms governing automation and acceptable behavior. Tunneler is a tool; you are responsible for ensuring your use complies with the terms of every platform you connect. Tunneler's guardrails help, but they do not replace your obligation to follow those terms.

4. Honesty about automation

Tunneler never instructs agents to lie about being automation-assisted. If someone directly asks, the honest answer is given casually and responsibly. We do not support stealth, deception, or the removal of required disclosures.

5. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate access, with or without notice, for activity that violates this policy or that we reasonably believe creates risk for you, for a platform, or for others. We may also remove content and cooperate with lawful requests.

6. Reporting abuse

If you believe Tunneler is being used in violation of this policy, contact abuse@tunneler.ai.
